REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS RFQ#2025-DPS1 – DESIGN SERVICES FOR NEW PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITY

Qualifications will be received at 200 Laurence Drive, Heath, Texas, 75032, until Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM local time, and publicly opened and read at that time for the procurement of the following:

The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. The City also reserves the right to purchase these services through State awarded contracts or other intergovernmental agreements when it is in the best interest of the City.

It is the intent of this Request For Qualifications (RFQ) to select an architectural firm and complete design team capable of providing services to assist the City of Heath with the following design and construction project:
New Public Safety Building: The facility will likely include the following basic items: three double drive-through apparatus bays, public lobby, offices, interview rooms, restrooms, showers, locker room, training room, records storage, evidence storage, 8 dorm rooms, fitness room, watch room, kitchen, gear and storage maintenance areas, day room, emergency operations center, conference room, and back-up generator. It is anticipated the new facility will be 17,000 to 18,000 square feet with a construction budget in the $10,500,000 range.
