Request For Qualifications - Group Health Benefits Consulting Services

Project Description: The Austin Independent School District (“AISD” or “the District”) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide Group Health Benefits Consulting Services. The District currently serves approximately 11,000 benefit-eligible employees.
The selected consultant will serve as a strategic partner to the District in supporting a large and complex employee benefits program, including medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits. Services will include, but are not limited to, strategic planning, financial and actuarial analysis, vendor management, procurement support, plan design, compliance, data analytics, and employee communication support.
AISD currently utilizes a benefits administration platform and expects respondents to demonstrate the ability to support ongoing operations while also providing recommendations for improvements or alternative solutions, if applicable.
This solicitation is issued as a Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Evaluation will be based on qualifications, experience, proposed personnel, approach, and overall value to the District. Selected respondents may be invited to participate in a Phase 2 in-person interview and/or presentation.
