REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
PLEASE TAKE NOTE that Request for Qualifications from engineering firms will be received in the Department of
Engineering, 350 Front Street, Room 235 Hempstead, New York, until August 20, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time
for:
TECHNOLOGICAL SERVICES
The qualification packets may be hand delivered or mailed to the above address. Qualification packets will not be
accepted after 11:00 A.M. on August 20, 2026. NO EXCEPTIONS SHALL BE GRANTED. Do not remove any pages;
qualification packets are to be submitted intact. For information, please email Commissioner Brian Kunzig, P.E.,

RFQ packets may be obtained through the Department of General Services, 350 Front Street, Room 211, Hempstead,
NY 11550, 516-812-3152 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., daily except Saturdays, Sundays and
holidays on and after July 31, 2026.
The Town of Hempstead reserves the right to reject any and all qualifications.
The Town of Hempstead encourages minority and women-owned businesses (M/WBE) and veteran-owned
businesses to participate in all Town qualifications submissions.
One (1) original and two (2) copies of the qualification must be delivered in a sealed envelope and received by the
Department of Engineering no later than 11:00 A.M. on August 20, 2026. The Town of Hempstead will not reimburse
any individual or firm for any costs associated with the preparation of their qualification statement.
