Request for Qualifications for Construction Administrator

BI-CTC-699-CA, Kinney Hall Renovations, CT State Community College Naugatuck Valley, 750 Chase Parkway Waterbury, CT Kinney Hall at CT State Community College Naugatuck Valley is a four-level, 49,000 square foot facility constructed in 1977. It is the oldest building on Naugatuck’s campus that has not undergone significant improvements. Planned modifications to this facility are a product of academic advancement, student needs, campus safety, ADA compliance, and infrastructure upgrades. Key accessibility upgrades include the installation of elevators, renovated restrooms, improved egress stairs, and barrier-free access. Renovations or Relocation of the Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) to meet current licensing requirements, including evaluation of outdoor playgrounds. The full renovation with infrastructure improvements will include replacing end-of-life equipment and adhering to current building, fire, and accessibility codes, which are critical to the college's mission.
