REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR

ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES

INLAND PORT AT CASTLE COMMERCE CENTER

The Merced County Department of Public Works requests State of Qualifications (SOQ) from Engineering firms to provide Engineering Design Services for the Inland Port at Castle Commerce Center in Merced County. SOQs will be received until 4:00 PM, February 5, 2026 at the Department of Public Works located at 345 West 7th Street, Merced California 95341.

State of Qualifications, in order to received consideration, shall be made and submitted in accordance with the requirements and conditions set forth in the Request for Qualification (RFQ) dated January 8, 2026, and any such Addenda thereto as may be issued prior to the submittal date.

The SOQ from any firm who has previously violated the terms of Federal Labor Laws, and who has not been cleared of such violations, will not be considered. Also, any sub-consultant under the same circumstances will not be accepted for consideration.

The Department of Public Works hereby notifies all applicants that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or other protected status in consideration for an award.
