Request for Qualifications for Investment Consultant Services for 401(a) and 457(b) Plans

The City of Newnan, Georgia is soliciting statements of qualifications from qualified investment consultant firms for the performance of investment services with regard to the assets of the City of Newnan’s 401(a) and 457(b) plans and rendering investment advice in support of the Mayor and Council and the Plan’s Committees in meeting the members’ obligation as plan fiduciaries and to accept the fiduciary responsibility to act as the Plans’ investment manager.

The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify potential providers of the below-mentioned services. All respondents to this RFQ are subject to instructions communicated in this document and are cautioned to completely review the entire RFQ as well as follow instructions carefully. The City of Newnan reserves the right to reject any or all statements of qualifications or proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of the City of Newnan.

Scope of Services

Serve as Fiduciary for 401(a) and 457(b) plans

Provide Quarterly Performance Reports to Retirement Committee

Provide a Fiduciary Training component for Retirement Committee Members

Conduct Periodic Manager Searches

Review of Plan Documents

Provide Customer Service, when needed, to address concerns with Corebridge Financial (City Record Keeper)

Assist with studies and analysis, when needed.
