Request for Qualifications for Architectural Services Sheriff’s Office North Annex Project

Cass County, Missouri is soliciting proposals to provide architectural services in connection with the feasibility, design and construction of the Sheriff’s Office North Annex to be located within the City of Belton, Missouri on County owned property located at 107 County Line Road.  The County encourages firms engaged in the practice of architecture to submit a statement of qualifications and performance data. The County also expects to separately engage a construction manager.

In evaluating firm qualifications, the County will consider (1) the specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of services required; (2) the capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project;  (3) the past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules; and (4) the firm's proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located.

Qualified firms should highlight experience in working with and regularly engaging in the design of law enforcement buildings, as well as projects in which the owner had retained a construction manager as advisor.

Statement of qualifications (5 copies) should be sent no later than Noon, January 10, 2025, to: Cass County Commission, c/o Kayleigh Bowes, 102 East Wall Street, Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.

This RFQ is an invitation by the Cass County Commission for interested firms to submit qualifications, which may be subject to subsequent discussions and negotiations.  Submittal of qualifications does not create any right in or expectation to a contract with the County. The County reserves the right to reject any and all RFQ’s.
