REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS Fire Station Architectural and other Consulting Services in Missoula, Mon

The City of Missoula (City) is considering the acquisition of property and subsequent construction of a new fire station (fire station #6), for the Missoula Fire Department (MFD). The City is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for a qualified design team or teams to help the City evaluate a suitable site, develop conceptual designs for building and site improvements, and prepare cost estimates.

The City may, at its sole discretion, utilize the selected design team(s) to evaluate other alternative sites. The City may, at its sole discretion, utilize the selected design team(s) for subsequent phases of the project, such as design and construction oversight, as well as for other ancillary projects. The City reserves the right to reject all proposals.

Interested parties shall submit the following information in a single PDF file or bound hard copy:

1. Cover Letter – Include a brief introduction, interest in the project, and point of contact.

2. Firm Information – Legal name, headquarters and local office locations, number of employees, and years in business.

3. Project Team – Resumes, roles, and relevant experience of key personnel.

4. Relevant Experience – At least one completed public safety facility or government building project in the last 10 years, including photos, scope descriptions, budgets, and completion dates.

5. Project Approach – Narrative describing methodology for programming, design, cost control, schedule adherence, and stakeholder engagement.

6.References – Contact information for at least three clients from similar projects.

7. Other Information – Any additional materials demonstrating qualifications.
