Request for Qualifications Architectural Services for Eagle County Justice Center Expansion

Eagle County, Colorado is soliciting statements of qualifications and experience from architectural design firms for design services for an expansion project at the Eagle County Justice Center located at 885 Chambers Avenue, Eagle, Colorado 81631. The expansion project will include, but not be limited to, addition of a new courtroom, judicial chambers, support staff offices, jury deliberation room, holding area, conference room, probation offices, jury assembly room, a secure parking area, and enhanced security measures (collectively, the “Project”). Selection will be based on an evaluation of factors including recent experience in justice center facility projects, local knowledge of the region, ability to present to a public forum, reputation, background, capacity to meet schedules and budgets, quality of previous justice center building projects
undertaken, familiarity with the Eagle County, and degree of interest shown. This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) will be non-exclusive. Eagle County reserves the right to contract with other third parties. Interested firms should contact the following for additional information.

Sealed statements of qualifications must be sent to Kristin Degenhardt, Construction Manager, by email to kristin.degenhardt@eaglecounty.us at or before3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025. No telephone or facsimile statements of qualifications will be accepted. Any statement of qualifications received after this time will not be considered and will be returned to the respondent unopened unless good cause is shown as determined by Eagle County in its sole discretion. Sole responsibility rests with the respondent to ensure that the respondent’s statement of qualifications is received on time at the stated location.
