Proposal Solicitation - Water Supply Capacity Management Plans
Worcester County invites qualified engineering consultants to submit proposals to prepare a
Water Supply Capacity Management Plan (CMP) for both the Ocean Pines service area and
the MD 611 Corridor system, develop a calibrated water model of the Ocean Pines system,
including recommendations for water storage and water supply improvements for Ocean Pines
and the MD 611 Corridor in conformity with the requirements contained in the Proposal
Documents.
Proposal Documents for the above referenced project may be obtained from the Worcester
County Commissioner's Office by either e-mailing the Procurement Officer, at
purchasing@worcestermd.gov or by calling 410-632-1194 during normal business hours, or via
the County's Bids page on the County's website. Vendors are responsible for checking this
website for addenda prior to submitting their bids. Worcester County is not responsible for the
content of any Proposal Document received through any third party bid service. It is the sole
responsibility of the vendor to ensure the completeness and accuracy of their Completed
Proposal Documents.
A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 10 a.m.
at the Worcester County Department of Public Works - Admin Conf. Room, 6113 Timmons
Road, Snow Hill, MD 21863.
The last day for questions will be April 9, 2026, at noon.
Sealed Proposal Documents are due no later than Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 2 p.m. and
will be opened and only vendor names will be read aloud in the Office of the County
Commissioners, Worcester County Government Center - Room 1103, One West Market Street,
Snow Hill, Maryland 21863. Late Proposal Documents cannot be accepted.
Envelopes shall be marked "Proposal Solicitation - Water Supply CMPs" in the lower left-
hand corner.
Minority vendors are encouraged to compete for award of this solicitation.
