Delete "Due Date: May 28, 2:00pm"
Replace with "Due Date: June 4, 2:00pm"
Questions & Answers
Q1. Would the City consider adjusting either the questions deadline or the proposal due
date to allow adequate time to review and implement agenda in lieu of Memorial Day?
A1. Proposals are now due on June 4, 2:00pm AKST. Questions will be received until May 29.
Q2. Could the City clarify the specific expected scope and function of the individual for
Safety and Constructability Review?
A2. The City intends for the consultant to incorporate safety and constructability
considerations throughout the design process. This includes considering applicable
safety codes and requirements, construction sequencing, access, staging, and the
challenges associated with working in an active cargo and port environment to help
ensure the project can be constructed safely and efficiently while maintaining port
operations.
Q3. Are there any expected upgrades for the existing crane rail?
A3. There are no expected upgrades to the crane rail as part of this project.
