Request For Proposals (RFP) Notice

Mankato Transit System is soliciting from qualified firms for a 5-year Transit Development Plan. The Transit Development Plan will serve as a both a strategic vision and implementation road map to better serve our community. The consultant shall assess current transit services, engage with the public and stakeholders, identify transportation needs, set goals and priorities, recommend service improvements, plan for capital investments, estimate costs and funding sources and consider where transit resources should be devoted over the next five-year planning period.

Interested firms can obtain a copy of the RFP by downloading a copy from the City’s website ( https://www.mankatomn.gov/about-mankato/business/bids-and-request-for-proposals ).

Submit questions related to specific project requirements by 4:00 PM on September 10, 2026 via email to Dani Theis (danitheis@mankatomn.gov).

The deadline for submitting the RFP package is 5:15 pm September 11, 2026.
