Request For Proposals - Trade Contractor

DESCRIPTION: Construction of a new 30,253 SF jail with a capacity of 118 beds, expanding to 144 beds in the future. The structure will consist of a combination of concrete, pre-cast concrete, masonry, and pre-engineered steel. The envelope of the building will consist primarily of a mixture of metal panels, TPO roofing, and face brick. Site work, site utilities, and site improvements are a part of the project.
LOCATION: Sylvester, GA. The project site is bordered by South Washington Street to the west, West Martin Luther King Drive to the north, South Isabella Street to the east, and West Crockett Street to the south.
SCHEDULE: The project is scheduled to start approximately late February or early March of 2025, pending final receipt of trade contractor proposals, development of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposals, approval of the GMP by the Owner, and finalization of all other requirements of the Owner to facilitate the start of construction. PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the project site on November 19, 2024, at 11:00AM local time.
