REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

PART 1 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL PROCESS

Henderson Water Utility is requesting proposals for sludge pump equipment.

1.1

GENERAL INFORMATION

A.

The Sludge Pumps Equipment Manufacturer (Respondent) shall provide a signed proposal(s) to furnish a sludge pump system, to be installed at Henderson Water Utility Wastewater Treatment Facility, 205 Drury Lane, Henderson, KY, 42420.

B.

The equipment shall be meet the attached specification.

C.

The sludge pump equipment will be purchased from the selected Respondent by Henderson Water Utility. Respondent will be selected by June 15th, 2025, and a purchase agreement will be executed by July 22nd, 2025.

D.

The sludge pump equipment will be furnished and delivered to the Wastewater Treatment Plant site for installation at a later date. Respondent shall coordinate delivery timeline and site location with Henderson Water Utility no later than fourteen (14) days before expected arrival.

E.

The Respondent shall be written in to General Contract bid form and shall work with Donohue (Engineer) to assist the General Contractor in testing and commissioning the system, as specified herein.

F.

The construction and installation of the selected Respondent’s equipment is estimated to be complete by January 2028. Therefore, the selected Respondent will be required to work with the General Contractor to meet this deadline.

G.

All proposal pricing shall be valid for no less than one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days.

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

A.

State Street, Suite 1C, Champaign, IL 61820.

B.

Direct questions, in writing, to Alexis Sheehan ( For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. ) at the office of the Engineer. Written questions will be accepted until May 1st, 2025. Replies will be made by Addenda.

C.

After reviewing the proposals, Respondents may be requested to make a presentation to Henderson Water Utility and/or the Engineer within fourteen (14) calendar days after submitting their proposal.
