Description
Addendum 1 serves to answer questions from potential offerors and to make changes to the RFP.
PURPOSE OF THE RFP
The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Agriculture, is soliciting proposals for a qualified contractor to design, build, ship, installation, a seed cleaning line that meets the State’s needs. After installation of the seed cleaning line, the Contractor shall provide technical training on proper operation, maintenance, and upkeep. The Contractor shall provide a three year warranty parts and labor warranty on the seed cleaning line.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
In order for offers to be considered responsive, the Offeror’s seed cleaning line must meet these minimum requirements:
- Debearder Machine,
- Vibratory Scalper,
- Air Screen Cleaner,
- Disc Cleaner,
- Indent length grader,
- Gravity Table,
- Sack off weigh scale,
- Whole air filtration system,

All necessary conveyance,
- Unloading HopperFabricated Mezzanine/Stairs/Platforms
- Vibratory ConveyorSurge Hoppers and Bins
- Bucket Elevatorsor Screw Conveyors (based on offeror’s design).
Offerors must detail in their proposal how they meet the minimum prior experience requirements above. Offerors that fail to identify in their proposals how they meet the prior experience requirements will be deemed non-responsive.
DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSAL
Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on October 25, 2024, as indicated by postmark or email timestamp and late proposals will not be considered.
