2026 McKinley Park-Inclusive Playground Project, Project No. 2609-A

General Notice

City of Watertown (Owner) is requesting proposals from qualified playground equipment manufacturers and/or suppliers to design, supply, and install an inclusive playground that incorporates accessible, adaptive, and sensory play features in McKinley Park.

Proposals will be received electronically through Virtual BID until Thursday,April 30, 2026 at 4:00p.m. local time. The City will review all proposals May 4 ^th – May 9 ^th , 2026.

Each proposal shall include:

1. Total project cost proposal
2. Itemized cost breakdown
3. Site plan with dimensions
4. Color rendering of design
5. List of equipment components
6. Accessibility / inclusivity summary
7. Surfacing specifications
8. Installation plan
9. Project timeline
10. Warranty information
11. Sourcewell documentation
12. Contractor /installer information
13. Provide a letter of certification indicating Build America, Buy America standards

Each design must clearly show how existing equipment is incorporated.

Obtaining the Request for Proposal Documents

Information and Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website:

Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Vendors must create a free account with Virtual BID. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Proposal for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Vendors may obtain or examine Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am to 5pm, and may obtain copies of the Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
