The City of Rancho Cordova invites artists and artist teams to submit proposals for temporary public art installations in the Lincoln Village neighborhood. This initiative aims to enhance public safety, foster community identity, and activate pedestrian spaces.

Project Opportunities:

  • Asphalt Art Murals – Large-scale street murals improving traffic safety and engagement. ($8,000 per site)
  • Sidewalk Poetry – Haiku-style poetry revealed in rain, promoting transportation equity. ($1,500 per poem)
  • Placemaking Words – Interactive text-based public art enhancing pedestrian spaces. ($1,500 per site)

Artists selected for Asphalt Art Murals and Placemaking Words must be available on Spring Service Day (May 17, 2025) for installation.
