QUALIFYING INSURANCE AGENCIES TO QUOTE
NORTH DAKOTA INSURANCE RESERVE FUND COVERAGE FOR THE CITY OF BISMARCK
The Office of City Administration for the City of Bismarck is taking proposals from insurance companies to qualify them to quote insurance coverage for the City of Bismarck through the North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund (NDIRF) for a period to be determined by the Bismarck Board of City Commissioners. If the City elects to secure coverage with NDIRF, the selected agent/agency would continue as the City’s agent for a term of three years, with two one-year renewals at the City’s discretion.
To qualify, an agency should have experience in providing services to governmental entities or other large commercial liability policies. Minimum agency requirements are available in the office of the City Administrator, 221 North 5

Street, Bismarck, North Dakota. A selection committee will review each proposal for compliance with the Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements. Any proposal failing to comply with the RFP requirements may disqualify that proposal. The committee may have need to request clarification from one or more respondents.
