Request For Proposals - Design/Build Burr Park Stage Rook Extension

The City of Dalton has a Request for Proposals (RFP) to obtain Proposals from Design-Build firms to provide design and construction services for a roof extension project on an existing structure located at the Burr Performing Arts Park for the City of Dalton Public Works.  This project will employ the design-build procurement process to encourage a creative, problem-solving approach through interactive efforts of an experienced, highly motivated Design-Build Team.

The Design-Build firm shall prepare construction drawings, specifications, permit applications and supporting documentation to obtain all necessary permits and coordination with regulatory agencies. Development of construction plans shall include but not be limited to all engineering, structural design and any other associated design requirements to develop design drawings, reports, and specifications necessary to construct the project.

A Mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Tuesday November 5 ^th , 2024 at the Burr Performing Arts Park located at 101 S Hamilton Street Dalton, Georgia 30720, proposals will be accepted until 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. The RFP, specifications, and contract documents for this Project are open to public inspection at the City of Dalton Public Works Department located at 535 Elm Street, Dalton, Georgia 30721.
