Request for Proposals - City of Chandler Pre-Qualified Technical Registrants List for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Related Services

The City of Chandler invites qualified consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to establish a pre-qualified technical registrants list for MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING (MEP) AND RELATED SERVICES . The selected firms will be placed on a list which the city will utilize for the direct selection of the appropriate firms for Projects where design fees do not exceed five hundred thousand dollars, under A.R.S. § 34-103.   The city does not guarantee that a firm placed on the list of pre-qualified technical registrants will ever be awarded a contract.

Scope of Services
Architectural/engineering services for permitting, design, plan review, cost estimating, City building renovation and repair, landscape design, construction management services; mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, plumbing, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering.  Civil engineering maybe included as required for each project, but the majority of work is related to MEP services, including permitting, test and balancing, and construction management services; architectural, HVAC, energy management, and security systems design/fire safety.  MEP includes: fire protection engineering, commissioning, retro-commissioning, and life cycle analysis of MEP.
