Request for Proposals - City of Chandler Pre-Qualified Technical Registrants List for Cost Estimating and Related Services

The City of Chandler invites qualified consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to establish a pre-qualified technical registrants list for COST ESTIMATING AND RELATED SERVICES . The selected firms will be placed on a list which the city will utilize for the direct selection of the appropriate firms for Projects where design fees do not exceed five hundred thousand dollars, under A.R.S. § 34-103.   The city does not guarantee that a firm placed on the list of pre-qualified technical registrants will ever be awarded a contract.

Scope of Services
Qualified consulting firms will have knowledge in construction costs and principles, detailed labor, equipment, material requirements, and other factors that may influence potential costs for all phases during design and construction of the project. Services include, but are not limited to, preparing cost estimates for determining initial project budgets and schedules; evaluating contractor proposals, bid-tabulations; negotiating and analyzing contracts and claims; cost studies and reports; cost-benefit analysis, value engineering; and any other relevant project/construction cost estimating services necessary.
