Request for Proposals – Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) & Independent Power Producer (IPP) Controller
The Tanana Chiefs Conference (TCC) Energy Team invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the construction of seven (7) Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and microgrid controllers. These systems will be deployed across seven Interior Alaska communties: Venetie, Fort Yukon, Ruby, Minto, Grayling, Huslia, and Tok.

Project Scope
Contractors will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to deliver fully operational BESS and microgrid controller installations tailored to each community’s energy needs.

Award Structure
Contracts will be awarded by individual location. Bidders are not required to submit proposals for all seven sites to be considered responsive.

Registration
Proposers are required to register no later than 5:00 pm on September 19, 2025, to receive any addenda notifications. To register, email Cortnie Doan at cortnie.doan@tananachiefs.org.

Written Questions
All questions must be submitted in writing to Cortnie Doan at the above email address prior to 5:00 pm on September 19, 2025. The final addendum responding to submitted questions shall be released no later than September 24, 2025.

Proposals Due
Quotes must be submitted electronically in PDF format by 2:00 pm, Friday, October 3rd, 2025, to cortnie.doan@tananachiefs.org. Late submissions will not be considered.
