Request for Proposals Architectural, Engineering, and Planning Services for Development Activity (2025)

The Cambridge Housing Authority (CHA) is seeking the services of up to three (3) qualified design teams to provide professional planning, design, and construction administration services

in connection with potential housing and mixed-use development projects.

Work under this contract will be identified and performed on an ongoing basis until the fee’s

upset limit is reached. Upon identification of a priority modernization project by the CHA, the

design team shall evaluate the project and attend a task order discussion session with the CHA.

The design team shall then submit a detailed proposal for that specific project, including the

scope of work, the process/methodology and specific tasks to be undertaken, staff assignment, a

fee proposal based on the fee schedule and hourly rates negotiated at the time of

execution of a contract with the awarded firm(s), and timetable. Upon approval of the task order

by the CHA, the design team will proceed with design work and construction administration of

the specific capital improvement project.
