2026-01 Request for Proposals - SCADA Maintenance & Support

VENTURA RIVER WATER DISTRICT
NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the VENTURA RIVER WATER DISTRICT ("District") will receive proposals for
SCADA Maintenance and Support Services ("SCADA Support") from qualified proposers no later than 4:00 p.m.
Pacific Time on Monday, November 2, 2026. All proposals must conform to the terms of the District's Request
for Proposals ("RFP"). It is each proposer's responsibility to ensure it has received all addenda. Late proposals
may not be considered.
The selected consultant will provide on-call SCADA maintenance, troubleshooting, programming, support,
documentation, emergency response, and related technical services on an as-needed basis for the
District's potable water system. The services are intended to maintain reliable operation of the existing
SCADA system, support operational continuity, and assist with planning and transition support for an
anticipated SCADA system upgrade within the next three years. A complete Scope of Services is provided in
the RFP document.

An optional site walk will be offered on October 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time at:

The site walk is optional; however, each proposer is responsible for thoroughly assessing and
accounting for site conditions before submitting a proposal.
Direct all questions to the District's General Manager by email at: alma@vrwd.ca.gov. Proposers must
submit questions in writing no later than October 28, 2026. Responses, clarifications, or changes will be
issued by written addendum on an ongoing, as-needed basis. Oral statements or interpretations will not
be binding on the District.
Prospective proposers who download the RFP documents from the above link should email the District at
alma@vrwd.ca.gov to be placed on the proposer list and receive addenda.
Proposals must be submitted electronically in PDF format to alma@vrwd.ca.gov with the email subject line
"Proposal - SCADA Maintenance & Support Services" and received no later than 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time
on Monday, November 2, 2026.
The District reserves the right to cancel or modify the RFP, issue addenda, reject any or all proposals, waive
minor irregularities, request additional information, negotiate terms, and award a contract in the District's
best interest. Award will not be based on price alone.
