Request for Proposals

Request for Proposals (RFP) for the City of Porterdale’s Comprehensive Plan/Master Plan Update and Code Update:

1. Purpose: The City of Porterdale is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to update its Comprehensive/Master Plan and zoning code.
2. Submission Details: Proposals must be submitted by March 14, 2025, in a sealed envelope or box, clearly marked, and addressed to the City Clerk.
3. Project Scope:
   
   • Comprehensive Plan: Major update focusing on character areas, future land use, zoning, economic development, and historic preservation.
   • Code Update: Rewrite of the zoning code and update to the historic preservation ordinance to align with the new Comprehensive Plan.
4. Engagement: Includes City Council presentations, Steering Committee meetings, stakeholder interviews, public engagement opportunities, and an online survey.
5. Submission Requirements: Cover letter, detailed scope of services, copies of the proposal, project schedule, budget, insurance information, and additional relevant information.
6. Selection Process: Proposals will be reviewed for minimum requirements, qualifications, scope of services, and references. City staff will present recommendations to the City Council.
