REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL South Softball Complex Light Replacement Project

BACKGROUND:

The City of Cortez Parks & Recreation Department is seeking certified electricians to renovate the lights at the South Softball Complex, inspecting, repairing or replacing, and ensuring the existing lights are functional and properly aimed.

PROJECT SCOPE:

The location of the project is the Cortez South Softball Complex at 24302 Rd G.2, and includes re-lamping and replacing existing field lights (480v three-phase) on three softball fields. Most of the lights are on old metal cross-arms. They need to be moved to newly-refabricated fiberglass cross arms. Much of the work needs to be completed at a height of 60-65’ in a hi-lift or bucket truck supplied by the contractor. The contractor must inspect all electrical components and replace any faulty wiring or associated electrical components from the ground up (not the electrical panel or underground wiring).
