RESIDENTIAL REAL ESTATE BROKER for AIAN HOMEOWNERSHIP PROGRAM

Cook Inlet Housing Authority (CIHA) is seeking written proposals from responsive and responsible offerors, to engage real estate services on six (6) homeownership units.

The scope of services is the ability to identify qualified buyers - American Indian/Alaska Native households at or below eighty percent (80%) area median income - is key, as is closing on units quickly. CIHA will be responsible for conducting final income verification, though agent will be asked to have familiarity with program parameters to recruit potential households that qualify. In addition, CIHA and the agent will work closely with Cook Inlet Lending Center (CILC) to provide financial counseling as well as provide opportunities for downpayment assistance and second mortgage financing.

Any acceptance of a proposal shall NOT result in a binding contract between CIHA and the Offeror but instead will simply enable negotiations to take place which may eventually result in a detailed and refined agreement or contract between the Offeror and CIHA.
