REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL : Phase 1B Archeological Survey for Bronx River Pathway from Scarsdale Train Station to Scout Field

The County of Westchester is seeking a qualified archeologist to perform a Phase 1B Archeological Investigation for an approximately 5 mile length of the Bronx River Pathway from the Bronx River Pathway west of the Scarsdale Train Station in the Town-Village of Scarsdale to the east portion of Scout Field in the Village of Bronxville. This trail is entirely located within the Bronx River Reservation, which has been listed on the National Register since 1991. The County is proposing to rehabilitate the pedestrian pathway and its associated railings, stabilize the river’s edge at (10) bridge locations, and perform minor grading/shaping of existing drainage features.
