Description:

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities (WS/FCU) is requesting emergency and non-emergency on-call electrical work as needed and required at WS/FCU solid waste facilities, including Hanes Mill Road Landfill, Old Salisbury Road Landfill, Forum 52 Yard Waste, and Overdale Yard Waste. The power line along Hanes Landfill expansion access road is WS/FCU property. Vendor must have and maintain a current North Carolina electrical license and in order to score well when proposal is evaluated by staff, should have at least two years of experience doing similar work at an active landfill.

The City of Winston-Salem is seeking proposals for the scope of work herein described. Pursuant to bidding

policy, sealed proposals endorsed “On-Call Electrical Services for Solid Waste Facilities – RFP26134” will

be received until the time listed above by the City/County Purchasing Department, City Hall Building, 101 North

Main Street, Winston- Salem, NC. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
