Request for Proposal for San Miguel County West End Facilities Janitorial Contract

San Miguel County is seeking qualified bidders for janitorial services in our West end offices and facilities.

Premises - San Miguel County offices located at:

• 39595 HWY 145, Norwood, Bus Barn Bathroom
• 1110 Summit St, Norwood, Sheriff Annex
• 1120 Summit St, Norwood, Glockson Building

Once weekly (Location – 1110, 1120):

• Empty trash receptacles throughout the office
• Sweep and mop vinyl floors and vacuum carpets
• Mop desk chair floor guards
• Clean and sanitize desks, counters, sinks, and appliances in kitchens and break rooms
• Wipe down all public counters in each area with disinfecting solution
• Clean and sanitize window sills, tops of cabinets, file cabinets, and desks free of work materials

All public restrooms:

• Clean all surfaces, sinks, faucets, toilets, and urinals
• Empty trash
• Sweep and mop floors
• Refill all paper and soap dispensers

Every Other Week (Location - 39595)

Restroom:

• Clean all surfaces, sinks, faucets, toilets, and urinals
• Empty trash
• Sweep and mop floors
• Refill all paper and soap dispensers

Twice annually – spring (May) and fall (October):

• Carpet cleaning in 1120

This contract will be for the whole year beginning January 1st, 2026 through December 31st, 2026.
