REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR CITY HALL SOLAR PROJECT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Saint Peter is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified contractors to design, build, and maintain a ground-mounted solar installation on City property to provide power to the new City Hall building.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued to meet statutory requirements and to select an installer offering the best overall value to the City. The selected firm will be responsible for the design, engineering, installation, and long-term maintenance of the project.

Through this project, the City of Saint Peter seeks to:

• Reduce energy costs by lowering daily consumption from the grid.
• Minimize environmental impact.
• Demonstrate leadership in renewable energy development and serve as a community model for successful solar generation.

The RFP schedule is as follows:

• Proposal Deadline: Tuesday, September 23, 2025, by 4:00 p.m.
