REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR CEMETERY GROUNDS MAINTENANCE CONTRACT

The purpose of Bid # 2025-802-02 is to obtain proposals for grounds maintenance services at two (2) City-owned cemeteries; 1) City Cemetery 2) Resthaven Cemetery. Desired services consist primarily of mowing, string trimming, edging, and removing litter and fallen tree limbs.

SEALED BID responses will be received at the City of Jacksonville – City Hall, 315 S. Ragsdale St., Jacksonville, TX 75766, until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5 ^th , 2025 for the purpose of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and the performing of all work required in the Cemeteries Grounds Maintenance Contract, at which time and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud and retained by the City for tabulation, checking and evaluation. Proposals received by the City after the submission deadline will be considered void and unacceptable. The City is not responsible for lateness or non-delivery of mail, courier, etc.

Submissions should include one (1) original and (3) copies of the proposal, along with one (1) digital copy, Fax or email copies will not be accepted. Incomplete or late proposals will be considered non-responsive and will not be reviewed. Each proposal must be complete when submitted. No changes, modifications, corrections, or additions may be made to the proposal once the City of Jacksonville receives it.
