NOTICE Request for Proposal EXECUTIVE SEARCH FIRM CITY MANAGER CANDIDATE SEARCH

The City of Kirksville, Missouri (City) is seeking proposals from qualified recruitment firms to assist in the recruitment and selection of a highly skilled, visionary, and experienced City Manager. The City Manager will serve as the City's Chief Executive Officer, working under the City Council's direction to oversee the day-to-day operations of the City government, implement policies, manage staff, and support the City's growth and development. We invite interested firms to submit a proposal outlining their approach to identifying, vetting, and recruiting the best candidate for this important position.

The City anticipates entering into a professional services agreement with the company determined to be best qualified to provide these services effectively and efficiently.

Proposals may be delivered via email (as PDF documents) to Krystle Daniels, Human Resources Director, at kdaniels@kirksville.gov, by 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
