REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTEREST. ON-CALL SAFETY STUDIES (2027)
Notice is hereby given that the Arkansas Department of Transportation (Department) is seeking letters of interest from qualified consulting firms to provide on-call safety studies for selected highway projects in the State of Arkansas. The scope of work for on-call safety studies will include one or more of the steps listed in the Roadway Safety Management Process, which is outlined in the Highway Safety Manual, First Edition. These six steps are listed below. Firms should also be able to provide conceptual level designs for proposed safety improvements.
• Network Screening
• Diagnosis
• Selecting Countermeasures
• Economic Appraisal
• Project Prioritization
• Safety Effectiveness Evaluation

In order to receive consideration, interested firms shall provide completed qualifications in PDF format to ConsultantContracts@ardot.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. on June 2, 2026.
