YOUTH BASEBALL & SOFTBALL OFFICIATING AND SCOREKEEPING SERVICES
The City of Lynn Haven is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) for the purpose of conducting market
research related to youth sports officiating and scorekeeping services. This RFI is intended to identify
vendors that may be capable of providing baseball officiating and scorekeeping services at the Lynn
Haven Sports Complex and softball officiating and scorekeeping services at Cain Griffin Park for the
upcoming season(s).
This is a request for information only. This RFI is not a solicitation for pricing, bids, or proposals and shall
not result in a contract award.
1. Purpose
The City seeks to determine whether qualified vendors in the regional market are capable of providing
officiating and scorekeeping services for both baseball and softball programs across both facilities, or
whether these services must be procured separately by sport and/or location based on market capacity.
Responses will be used solely for procurement planning and to determine the appropriate structure of any
future solicitation(s).
2. Baseball Program – Lynn Haven Sports Complex
The City anticipates approximately 219 baseball games for the upcoming season at the Lynn Haven Sports
Complex, with the following estimated breakdown:

3. Softball Program – Cain Griffin Park
The City anticipates approximately 197 softball games for the upcoming season at Cain Griffin Park, with
the following estimated breakdown:

4. Requested Information
Vendors are requested to submit a written response indicating whether they are capable of providing:
• Baseball officiating and scorekeeping services for all baseball games at the Lynn Haven Sports
Complex;
• Softball officiating and scorekeeping services for all softball games at Cain Griffin Park; and

• Both baseball and softball services for both facilities during the same season.
Vendors responding that they can provide both baseball and softball services must clearly demonstrate
their capacity to staff and manage both programs simultaneously, including (at minimum):
• Staffing levels and availability
• Relevant experience
• Certifications or affiliations
• Operational structure for scheduling, coverage, and supervision
Vendors that can provide services for only one sport (baseball or softball) are encouraged to indicate so
in their response.
