The Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation (APFC) is seeking information from qualified vendors and individuals regarding the availability and capabilities of Data Technical Architects with expertise in cloud-based Data Warehousing using Snowflake technology. The goal is to work with the vendor to ensure the successful implementation of APFC’s enterprise data systems and workflows, ensuring extensibility, flexibility, and optimal technical outcomes.
This RFI is intended to gather information from potential candidates and vendors on their experience, qualifications, and capabilities to help APFC define the scope for a future Request for Proposal (RFP) or procurement process.

Deadline for Receipt of Responses:

Responses should be submitted in electronic format to procurement@apfc.org no later than 5pm, prevailing Alaskan Standard Time on April 16, 2025 as indicated on the postmark or email timestamp. Late submissions will not be considered.

Response Requirements:

Interested vendors and individuals are requested to provide the following information no later than 5pm, prevailing Alaska Standard Time on April 16th:

1. Company/Individual Information:
o Name, address, and contact information.
o Overview of qualifications and experience.

2. Experience & Capabilities:
o Description of relevant past projects, particularly in financial services and Snowflake-based data solutions.
o Case studies or client references (if available).

3. Technical Approach & Methodology:
o Overview of proposed technical strategy for Snowflake integration and data management.
o Best practices in performance optimization, security, and governance.

4. Resource Availability & Engagement Model:
o Availability for full-time, part-time, or consulting engagements.
o Proposed engagement model (staff augmentation, project-based, advisory, etc.).

5. Cost Estimates (Non-Binding):
o General cost structure or rate card for services.
o Estimated pricing for technical assessments, implementation, and support services.
