Project Description: The Township is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive, modern Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solution to replace and enhance the Township’s existing core financial and administrative systems. The selected solution will support the Township’s current operational needs while positioning the organization for future growth, regulatory compliance, transparency, and service delivery improvements.
The Township is a First-Class Township located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Located in the heart of the historic “Main Line," the Township is a first-ring suburban community bordering the City of Philadelphia. The Township provides a full range of municipal services including, but not limited to police and fire protection; public works (highway, refuse and recycling, sanitary sewer, facilities maintenance, fleet maintenance, shade tree and electrical); building and planning services including land use and development review, code enforcement, and community development programs; parks and recreation; libraries; parking services; and general government operations including township management, finance, human resources, information technology, and public information services.
• Population served – approximately 65,000 across 24 square miles
• Employees: 426 full-time positions; part-time and seasonal staff up to 350 during the year
• $83 million General Fund; Other major operating funds include Solid Waste Fund ($10 million), Sanitary Sewer Fund ($10 million) and Equipment Fund ($8 million)
This RFP invites vendors with demonstrated experience serving Pennsylvania municipalities or comparable local government entities to propose a fully integrated ERP solution that improves efficiency, data integrity, reporting, and user experience across departments.
Sealed proposals shall be submitted online via the PennBid Bonfire Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com).
