The U.S. Coast Guard is extending the response due date for the Request for Information (RFI) titled “Request for Information_Dual Point Davit System” originally published on June 6, 2025. The original response due date of June 20, 2025 has been extended by two weeks to July 9, 2025 at 5:00 PM EDT. All other details, including the scope, submission instructions, and attachments, remain unchanged.
This extension is being issued to allow additional time for industry to review the requirements and prepare their responses. Interested parties are encouraged to submit responses by the new deadline. No further extensions are anticipated.

This notice is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This RFI is issued by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) for information and planning purposes, pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market Research. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Participants are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs that result from responding to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.
Information is sought regarding the following: The USCG seeks to understand what operational Dual Point Davit Launch and Recovery Systems exist that satisfy or closely satisfy the capability parameters outlined in the attached document to support Search and Rescue, Law Enforcement, Flight Deck and Rescue Boat operations. "Operational" in this context refers to existing technologies and equipment that are currently used in commercial and/or Government (law enforcement or Department of Defense) application.
