Request for Construction Bids

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water, Street, & Storm Drainage System Improvements ¿ FY 2023 CDBG, Still Waters Eng. Project No.: F2114.002 will be received, by the City of Funston, at the Funston City Hall ¿ 115 W Mulberry Street, Funston, Georgia 31753, until 10:30 AM local time on November 7, 2024, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The Project consists of constructing 3,825 linear feet of assorted 15¿-36¿ storm drainage piping, 8,087 linear feet of 24¿ roll-over curb and gutter, various curb inlets & drop inlets, associated 9.5 mm Superpave Asphalt Resurfacing, 2,090 linear feet of 6¿ PVC water main, gate valves, fire hydrants, tapping sleeves and transferring of existing water services along with all additional items indicated in the Contract Documents.
Bids submitted via mail shall be mailed to City of Funston at 115 W Mulberry Street, Moultrie (Funston), Georgia 31768 or P. O. Box 209 Funston, GA 31753.Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with any alternate bid items if indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Still Waters Engineering, 130 Veterinary Way, Unit 2, Leesburg, GA 31763. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 AM ¿ 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Bidding Documents also may be examined at Funston City Hall, during the City¿s regular business hours.
