Request for Bids - West Fork Incinerator Abatement

The Port is requesting bids for the West Fork Incinerator Abatement, Project 2601.01 located at Millcreek Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223.  The Contract Documents, Specifications and Appendices, are attached.  Please note the project scope is limited to abatement of asbestos-containing materials and universal waste.  A request for bids for the demolition activities is planned for release by August 1, 2025.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 9:00 EST at the Project site. Representatives of The Port will be present to discuss the Project. Bidding General Contractors are required to attend. Sub-contractors are strongly encouraged to participate in the meeting. Attendees will be required to sign a waiver before entering the site.  Flashlights and proper attire are required. The property will be available for inspection at pre-scheduled times announced at the pre-bid meeting.

Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m. EST Friday, June 27, 2025. Bids will thereafter be privately opened and evaluated.  Bids shall be submitted digitally or as a hard copy, and properly identified with the bidder's name and the Project number. Bids shall be addressed to Jen Lintz, at the address listed in the signature below. The Port intends and requires that this project be completed no later than December 31, 2025.

The Port reserves the right to reject any and all contractors or proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received, or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to The Port.
