Rusk County invites proposals for Visitors center Re-Roof. Based on your previous work experience your company has been selected to receive the Bid Packet and is invited to submit a proposal. Please take the time to carefully read and become familiar with the proposal requirements. All proposals submitted for consideration must be received by the time specified above the

PROJECT OBJECTIVE

To remove old shingles and replace existing roof system with asphalt shingles that meet all applicable building codes and standards.

PROJECT SCOPE AND SPECIFICATIONS

Including but not limited to;

removal and disposal of existing roofing materials

inspection and only necessary repair of underlying decking

installation of appropriate vapor barriers, and underlayment

installation of new roofing materials

integration of all flashing, drainage, and ventilation components.

Removal of faux chimneys

Site cleanup and debris removal

SCHEDULED TIMELINE

The following timeline has been established to ensure that our project objective is achieved; however, the following project timeline shall be subject to change if deemed necessary

PROPOSAL BIDDING REQUIREMENTS

PROJECT PROPOSAL EXPECTATIONS

Rusk County shall award the contract to the proposal that best accommodates the various requirements. Rusk County reserves the right to: (1) award the contract to more than one bidder, and (2) refuse any proposal or contract.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT PROPOSAL

All proposals must be received by rusk County no later than May 7th 2026 by 3PM for consideration in the project proposal selection process.

PROPOSAL SELECTION CRITERIA

Only proposals received by the stated deadline will be considered. All proposals, submitted by the deadline, will be reviewed and evaluated based upon information provided in the submitted proposal. Consideration will be given to cost and performance suggestions.
