Description

Sealed proposals will be received by Granville County for the Roof Replacement at Granville County Orange Street Community Center until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 16, 2025, in the office of the Granville County Development Services, Reception Desk, 122 Williamsboro Street, Oxford, NC 27565. This project will be bid and awarded in accordance with North Carolina law. All bids will be opened and read aloud starting at 2:00 P.M. All times are local prevailing times. A Mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, October 2, 2025, and will commence at the Granville County Orange Street Community Center located at 125 Orange Street, Oxford, NC 27565. Failure to attend will result in the bid being returned unopened. Questions concerning the project shall be submitted in writing to Mr. Bob Tomlinson, RRC, REI Engineers, 9121 Anson Way, Suite 100, Raleigh, North Carolina, 27613, rtomlinson@reiengineers.com. Complete plans and specifications in electronic format may be obtained from Mr. Bob Tomlinson, RRC, REI Engineers, (919) 845-1450, ext. 229 or by email request at rtomlinson@reiengineers.com during normal office hours beginning Tuesday, September 30, 2025. No plan deposit is applicable for electronic files. Complete contract documents will be provided at the pre-bid conference. Plan Deposit - $150.00. The plan deposit will be refunded to bidders provided the plans are returned bound, in order, and in good condition no later than 10 days following the bid date. MBE firms are encouraged to inquire. Granville County reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and irregularities in bidding and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the Granville County. Granville County also reserves the right to require any bidder to submit information needed to determine if said bidder is responsible within the meaning of N.C. Gen. Stat. 143-129.
