Request for Bids - City Parks Camera Project - Electrical Services

The City of Paducah, KY is requesting bids from qualified firms to provide electrical services for upcoming Parks Camera projects. This includes, but is not limited to installation of electrical service, installation of 20A receptacles, boring underground conduit for medium voltage and low voltage cabling. The City of Paducah has multiple parks that need electrical installation. These environments have some electrical installments and electrical poles for use while others need new service. Details of the City of Paducah’s technology environment will be disclosed during the mandatory in-person pre-submission meeting.

Pre-Submission Meeting: For bidders to be fully informed on the current environment at the parks, prospective bidders shall attend a mandatory, in person, pre-bid meeting where the parks will be evaluated and questions can be asked. Virtual attendance will not be permitted. This meeting will be held 7 days prior to the bid opening at 2:00 pm on August 24, 2026, at 1100 Walter Jetton Blvd, Paducah, KY (Robert Coleman Park), from there, attendees will visit 421 N 13th St, Paducah, KY (Rotary Health Park) and lastly 2801 Park Ave, Paducah, KY (Noble Park).

Submission Procedure: All bids satisfying the requirements of this Request for Bids will be evaluated to establish which of the bidder’s best fulfills the needs of the City. Bids will be opened by the City of Paducah at City Hall located at 300 South 5th Street on August 31, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
