Replenish Funds for Postage Meter

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in Crownpoint, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a Sole Source firm-fixed-price award to The Pitney Bowes Bank, Inc Suite 320, 215 South State Street, Salt Lake, UT 84111 to replenish funds for the postage meter at Crownpoint Healthcare Facility.

The award will be a sole source procurement awarded to The Pitney Bowes Bank, Inc in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available based on urgency. Crownpoint Healthcare Facility requires the postage meter to send out the hospital mail which included documents, appointment letters and prescriptions.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than Pitney Bowes Bank, Inc. may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Arlynda Largo, Purchasing Agent, at Arlynda.largo@ihs.gov and Janice Martinez, Supervisory Contract Specialist, at Janice.Martinez@ihs.gov on November 5, 2024 by 8:00 MST

Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
