Replacement of Three Parking Garage Elevators

The City of Gaithersburg is accepting formal sealed Proposals to hire a qualified Contractor to replace three (3) passenger elevators at the Olde Towne Parking Garage , 112 Olde Towne Avenue, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20877. Two of the elevators are inside the garage structure and the third is adjacent to the garage in a standalone tower connected to the building via an elevated walkway from the garages’ fourth level.

The City owns and operates its municipal parking facility known as the Olde Towne Parking Garage. The garage is a six-story, seven deck concrete and steel structure with 693 total parking spaces to include seventeen (17) Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) mandated parking spaces.

All work under the contract shall be performed in accordance with the Design Drawings, incorporated herein as Exhibit A and Specifications herein as Exhibit B, both of which are attached to this solicitation and available for download below. The Design Drawings and the Specifications are hereinafter referred to together as “plans and specifications” (Refer to Exhibit A and Exhibit B).
