Replacement of the Existing Lehnert Road Water Pumping Station Exterior Main Electrical Service Enclosure and Circuit Disconnect Switch

Project Description: The Whitehall Township Authority (“Owner”) will receive sealed bids electronically via the PennBid Program for the Replacement of the Existing Lehnert Road Water Pumping Station Exterior Main Electrical Service Enclosure and Circuit Disconnect Switch, located at 480 Mickley Road, Whitehall, PA 18052. The work will involve coordination with PPL to disconnect the power on their service side, removal of the existing enclosure and conduit and installation of the new enclosure, circuit breaker and associated equipment/material.
Bids will be received online via PennBid until 2:00 p.m. (prevailing time) on Monday, June 9, 2025. Bid results will be made available on PennBid after bid opening/review by Owner.

The bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the Owner in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions.
This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Public Works Employee Verification Act. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids. No bid will be accepted if not submitted through the PennBid system.
