For Replacement of Administration Building Roof
The following proposal and specifications are to ensure which materials, labor, and
services are included to complete the project.
Location of Project
Montcalm County Administration Building: 211 W. Main Street, Stanton, MI 48888
Detailed Specifications to Include
Liability insurance of $1,000,000 minimum required.
Remove and properly dispose of the existing roof assembly, down to the original built-up roof.
Install tapered polyisocyanurate (ISO) insulation board over the entire roof surface with an
average R-value of 15.2.
Install a new 60-mil Thermoplastic roof system complete with all flashings and accessories.
Install new 24-gauge standard colored Kynar 500 edge trim at the roof edges.
Install new extruded aluminum compression bar at the masonry wall roof edges.
Furnish a 20-year warranty on materials and workmanship as described above.

Public Opening of bids at 12:45pm on August 17th.

There will be a mandatory walk-thru scheduled for this project on Monday, August 3, 2026 at
10:00am. Please meet Doug Gietzen at the back of the Administration Building near the garage.
If you have questions concerning the walk-thru please contact Doug at 989-818-2047, at your
earliest convenience.
Terms of Payment
Payment for the project will be made upon completion of the project, unless specified otherwise
in contract.
Any additional work requiring additional cost must be submitted to the Director of Buildings &
Grounds and approved in writing (or by signature) before work is performed; additional
approved work will become part of the original contract and paid accordingly.
