TOWN OF TEWKSBURY, MASSACHUSETTS

REPLACEMENT OF PUMPS AT THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT SITE PUMP STATION

CONTRACT No. PW-25-16

A request for price quotes for removal and replacement of two Flyt 3102 5HP pumps and new stainless steel extraction chains.  The pumps sit approximately 30-feet below grade in the site pump station vault.  The Site Pump Station is located at the Water Treatment Plant.  The Contractor’s cost shall include all materials and labor, including confined space entry, as needed.  Cost shall include disposal of all waste associated with the work as well as the old pumps and accessories.  The pumps may be retained by the Town at their discretion.  Cleaning of the Site Pump Station will be performed by the Town prior to the pump replacement work.  Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project.  Quotes are due to the DPW 999 Whipple Road by 2 pm on Thursday July 17, 2025.
