Replacement of Mixed Media for Sand Filters

Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of replacement of mixed media for sand filters from Northwest Water Treatment as a sole source because of the contractor being the single provider of the goods and/or services. The replacement requires a specialized knowledge and expertise in designing and installing a non-toxic mixed media that is compatible for oyster larvae. Northwest Water Treatment specializes in replacement of mixed media that is critical to the filtration of seawater for the oyster hatcheries and is the only entity that can meet this requirement. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
