Separate sealed bids for:
Replacement of Maintenance Building Roof
Will be received online by the Middlesex Township Municipal Authority via the PennBid program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 3:00 P.M., prevailing time, Tuesday, November 19, 2024. Bids will be publicly announced at the Authority's monthly meeting on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 7:00 P.M., prevailing time.
Without intending to limit or restrict the volume of Work required, the project includes but is not limited to the following:
Replacing the existing asphalt shingle roof with either a new shingle roof or optional metal roofs on an approximate 4,500 sf building.
The Specifications and Drawings are available online at no cost at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
A pre-bid conference is scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, at 10:30 A.M., prevailing time at the Maintenance Building at 10 Reservoir Lane, Carlisle, PA 17013. Attendance is not required but highly encouraged.
No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The Bid Security shall be made payable to the Middlesex Township Municipal Authority. All Bid Bonds must be accompanied by a Power of Attorney or suitable letter of commitment from a licensed surety company as described in the Instructions to Bidders and Specifications.
PREVAILING WAGES: Attention is called to the fact that payment of prevailing wages will be required on this project and the required wages have been included in the documents.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or portion thereof, and to waive any informalities and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Authority.
